The Life of a Translated and Transformed Man.

Image
Topic:         The Life of a Translated and Transformed Man. Text:           Col. 1:12-13, Heb. 11:6, Mark 11:24 . Introduction: The important of knowledge in the 21 st century can be neither over-emphasized nor under-emphasized. Because if there is something that will launch you into your inheritance is called KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING, that is why Apostle Paul through the leading of the Holy Spirit prayed thus “ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the Saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of His Power towards us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power” Eph. 1:17-19 . The same thing the Holy Spirit through Apostle Peter Revealed “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertains to life and Godl

What About Divorce pt. 1? By Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Image
What About Divorce pt. 1? Dear Reader, I count it a great privilege to bring God’s Word your way, which will bring answers to your questions in Jesus’ name. This month, the question is   What About Divorce?   Does God approve of it? Why is it that two people who were so in love, who could barely do without each other, suddenly grow cold and grow apart? With the same mouth with which they exchanged endearments, they fire abuses at one another. What is it that is pressurizing you to divorce? Is it childlessness between you as a couple? No matter how modern man excuses divorce, it is not of God. The union of a man and woman in holy wedlock is sacred and for a lifetime. The Pharisees asked Jesus:   Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered…Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so…what therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder  (Matthew 19:4,8 & 6). From the

Child Training: Joint Responsibility of Both Parents By Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Image
Dear Reader, You are welcome to another time with Family Life. By the Word of God, I will be looking at Child Training as joint responsibility of both parents.  God had given the responsibility of child training to parents.   That is why this week, I want to say to parents,   “Accept your parental responsibility.” There is a way each child should go, and parents have the responsibility of locating and training them in it. When they do, the children will not depart from that way, when they are old. The Word of God says:  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it   (Proverbs 22:6). From the above scripture, God did not mention who, particularly, should do the training, but definitely it is the parents. I mean both parents, because neither the father nor the mother alone can give birth to a child. It is a combination of forces; therefore, the training must be done by both parents. Child training is not just the responsibility of the mother al

MAKING A DIFFERENCE pt. 2 by Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Image
Dear Reader, You are welcome into God’s presence! May you be blessed as you read this article in Jesus’ name. My focus is still on Making a Difference. Last week, I shared with you, woman as God’s last born. This week, I will teach on the Productive Woman. Every woman is created to make a difference and not to be a burden. God’s intention is that wherever a woman is found, she becomes an asset, not a liability. Remember, when Eve joined Adam, life was supposed to be better for him; she was to be an asset to him, a help not a hindrance. The Word of God says:   And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed   (Genesis 2:8). Some time ago, God spoke these words to my heart,  “Faith, you are born a blessing not a burden.”   I picked up my Bible and wrote those words down. In every new Bible I get, I write them down on the first page, because I am determined to be a blessing to my world and not a burden. No matter your status as a woman, you
